IGI Jewelry Design Competition Returns
This year’s theme asks designers to take inspiration from classic fairy tales.

“IGI Expressions” challenges student, amateur, and professional jewelry designers to create a piece based around a theme.
This year, the theme is “A Journey to the Enchanted Forest.”
Participants can take inspiration from classic fairy tales, fantasies, and their imaginations.
“Participants are invited to celebrate the transformative power of design by breathing new life into beloved fairy tales, infusing iconic elements like the Evil Queen's crimson apple or Rapunzel's flowing locks into their stunning pieces,” said IGI on its website.
The categories for submission are statement pieces, convertible jewelry, and accessories, including hair pins, brooches, and hand chain bracelets.
The designs can be created via CAD, manual sketch, or digital tablet sketches.
"We are thrilled to invite both budding and seasoned designers from across the globe to bring their unique interpretations of ‘A Journey to the Enchanted Forest’ to life," said Tehmasp Printer, CEO of IGI.
"This competition serves as a platform to celebrate talent, passion, and innovation in jewelry design, and we’re excited to see the magical creativity that this theme will inspire."
The competition is free to enter, and the submission period begins Nov. 30 through Jan. 30.
IGI offers prizes for finalists and winners, including a champion trophy, cash prizes, global certificates, and recognition across IGI’s social media platforms.
