GemFind Introduces Video Call Feature for Personal Shopping

The new tool lets jewelers take customers on a virtual in-store shopping journey.

GemFind Digital Solutions partnered with tech company Oktium on a new video call feature that will let sales associates take customers on a virtual shopping tour of the jewelry store.
Newport Beach, Calif.—GemFind Digital Solutions’ new video call feature will let jewelers take customers on a virtual in-store shopping journey.
 
The jewelry-focused technology and digital marketing agency partnered with tech company Oktium to add the new element.
 
“We are very excited about adding this new service to our ecosystem as it enables jewelry buyers to feel more confident and comfortable about the products they buy online,” said GemFind Founder and CEO Alex Fetanat.
 
Case studies have shown this type of tool can boost website conversion by more than 30 percent, he added.
 
Sales associates can take customers on a virtual tour via the store’s website. The video chat system will link to products on the website for a more personalized experience.
 
The sale can be completed from beginning to end on the same app. 
 
Customers are not required to download anything or register for the service and the purchase can be completed on the same screen with one click.
 
The app is compatible with several payment gateways and does not charge a fee for sales made during the call, according to GemFind’s website.

“Putting clients’ needs first and providing an engaging customer experience is what GemFind and Oktium have in common,” said Pavel Skultety, marketing director at Oktium.
