A new documentary called “Inside the Dream” follows Bulgari Creative Director Lucia Silvestri through the stages of high jewelry creation.
Silvestri learned the business from the Bulgari family and now gets to follow every single step in the process, from searching for the right gems and designing the jewels to working with stars on red carpet looks.
The Roman jeweler partners with some of Hollywood’s biggest names, and a few of those are included in the documentary.
Emmy-winning actress Zendaya, who stole the show when she was the first person to wear the Bulgari Serpenti Hypnotic Emerald necklace to the 78th Venice International Film Festival, as seen below, is one of the stars who appears in the documentary.
The necklace features a 93.83-carat Colombian cabochon-cut emerald set with diamonds and emeralds. It took a year to produce.
Styled in a nude wet-look Balmain dress by Gem Award winner Law Roach, the look landed her on top of many best-dressed lists.
Also featured in the documentary are blogger and businesswoman Chiara Ferragni, Blackpink singer Lalisa, supermodel Lily Aldridge, and actress Priyanka Chopra Jonas.
“Inside the Dream” had its worldwide premiere at the Toronto International Film Festival, of which Bulgari is the official jewelry partner.
Directed by Matthieu Menu and produced by Terminal 9, it’s available to watch on Amazon Prime for members now.
