Princeton, N.J.--The Rothman Institute of Entrepreneurship has named Hamilton Jewelers as the 2013 Family Business of the Year.
The Institute presented the award to members of the of the Siegel family, including Hank Siegel, president of Hamilton, and Martin Siegel, chairman, among others, during a luncheon at the Crystal Plaza in Livingston, N.J. on Oct. 16.
The Rothman Institute of Entrepreneurship at Fairleigh Dickinson University in Hackensack, N.J. has been recognizing family businesses for 21 years that “demonstrate strong business acumen, active family engagement, innovation and community involvement.”
The awards program is also sponsored by New Jersey Monthly and PNC Bank.
Established in 1912, Hamilton Jewelers has two locations in New Jersey, including the flagship store in Princeton and another in Red Bank, with additional locations in Palm Beach, Fla.
