LovePendants Starts Customizing, Donates to Harvey Relief
The company is now making pendants to reflect a retailer’s specific market and will be donating a portion of custom pendant sales to hurricane relief efforts in Houston.

New York--LovePendants has started a charm customization program, and is launching it with a charitable twist.
The New York-based company said Tuesday that it is now designing and producing engraved Swarovski crystal charms with enameled symbols that are made to order so they can be specific to an individual retailer’s market, like a seashell for a retailer near the beach or the outline of a specific state.
All charms have the brand’s patent-pending parallel mirror symmetry cut.
They come set in a gold-plated silver frame and retail for $76, regardless of the color of the Swarovski crystal or the size of the engraving.
The custom charms take longer than the five to seven days it takes LovePendants to make its standard charms; delivery is three to four weeks for the initial order.
To launch the service, LovePendants has a charm with the enameled outline of the State of Texas, and said that 50 percent of all sales of this pendant will be donated to the Hurricane Harvey Relief Fund, which is housed at the Greater Houston Community Foundation, a 501 (c)(3) nonprofit.
Some example of jewelers who already have ordered custom charms are Tom Laurrie, manager of Firth Jewelers in Niagara Falls, New York, which had a charm made depicting the town’s famous water falls, and Park Place Jewelers in Ocean City, Maryland.
To mark the start of its custom charm service, LovePendants is waiving all e-commerce set-up fees for its affiliate program through Nov. 30.
