Featherstone Fine Jewelry Makes It Permanent with Bergdorf
The launch of a permanent collection with the iconic retailer follows a temporary collaboration earlier this year.

New York--Featherstone Fine Jewelry tried its hand at the retail game this spring, and it went so well that they’re making it official.
In late March, the brand debuted a display in Bergdorf Goodman’s Jewelry Salon that lasted only a few weeks but was “wildly successful.”
Now, they are launching a permanent collection with the iconic retailer on Sept. 14.
Deirdre Featherstone, the Awards for Excellence-nominated designer behind Featherstone Fine Jewelry, has been designing and producing jewelry in New York City since 1985.
She is known is known for her use of rare colored gemstones and an appreciation for platinum. Featherstone designs pieces with convertibility, using a series of hidden hooks and loops that allow the jewelry pieces to be worn alone or combined with others so that each wearer can create their own story.
Featherstone said shoppers can expect to see fancy, rocky and raw gemstones, a lot of “irreverent” color combinations and her signature platinum and 18-karat gold metal work at Bergdorf Goodman.
As part of the relationship with the retailer, Featherstone will make frequent appearances at the store’s Jewelry Salon to work with clients individually.
“While Bergdorf’s is a world renowned department store, the jewelry salon is still exceptionally intimate,” she said. “I am excited to share my work and build for the Bergdorf woman. The custom jewelry experience is about relationships, and it requires the most precious commodity of all, which in my opinion, is time.”
