Instappraise, Jewelers Mutual Look to Simplify Jewelry Insurance
Through a new system integration, customers can now receive instant personal jewelry insurance quotes at the time of appraisal.

Instappraise’s appraisal workflow has now been integrated directly into Jewelers Mutual’s insurance platform, allowing customers to receive real-time personal jewelry insurance quotes at the point of appraisal.
“Traditionally, securing a jewelry appraisal and obtaining the right insurance coverage have been completely separate, time-consuming steps for the consumer. This new integration bridges that gap entirely,” the companies said in a joint press release.
When an appraiser or retailer finalizes an appraisal document via Instappraise, they have the option to request an insurance quote directly from Jewelers Mutual.
The platform then sends the quote via email directly to the customer from Jewelers Mutual, giving them the opportunity to purchase a policy.
The partnership means a more seamless customer experience and increased inefficiency, the companies said.
The process also minimizes manual data entry, reducing the chance of human error by automatically inputting appraisal values and descriptions into Jewelers Mutual’s insurance quote generator.
“Our goal at Instappraise has always been to leverage technology to modernize the appraisal workflow and add measurable value to the jewelry professional’s business,” said Raphael Boivin, founder of Instappraise.
“By embedding instant insurance quoting directly from Jewelers Mutual into our platform, we are helping jewelers and appraisers create a more complete experience for their clients, one that makes it easy for customers to choose to take the next step in protecting their most prized possessions.”
The integration is currently available to select users through an exclusive early-access program and will be rolled out at full scale later this year.
“Protecting jewelry should be simple, and this integration makes it exactly that,” said Jewelers Mutual President Mike Alexander, who is slated to become president and CEO at the start of 2027.
“By connecting the appraisal process with a seamless path to jewelry insurance protection, we’re making it easier for consumers to protect the pieces that matter most to them right at the moment it’s most relevant.”
Those interested in joining the early-access waitlist or scheduling a live demonstration of the Instappraise platform can visit the Instappraise website.
