Jewelry Trade Shows Form ‘The Collective’

New York—The three jewelry trade shows exhibiting at the Las Vegas Convention Center in 2019 are pooling their marketing power.
AGTA GemFair Las Vegas, the Las Vegas Antique Jewelry & Watch Show and Premier—the new jewelry trade show organized by Emerald Expositions—announced Wednesday the launch of their joint marketing campaign and website, The Collective.
The taglines of The Collective, “Reimagining the Market Week Experience,” and “1 Badge, 1 Hall, 3 Shows,” are designed to remind the trade that these three shows are taking place in one location, at the Las Vegas Convention Center, on the same dates—May 30 to June 3, 2019—and that only one badge is needed to get into all three shows.
It also reiterates the message that the co-located shows are “collectively creating a powerful shift in the landscape of Las Vegas Market Week,” said AGTA CEO Doug Hucker.
Emerald Expositions owns both the trade-only Las Vegas antique show and the new Premier jewelry trade show. Emerald, which also owns the Couture show, created Premier to compete with JCK Las Vegas as it returns to The Sands.
AGTA used to hold its Las Vegas GemFair at JCK Las Vegas but, as announced late last year, has opted to co-locate with Emerald’s shows at the Las Vegas Convention Center in 2019.

Each of the three jewelry trade shows also will continue to market themselves individually.
The website for The Collective, TheCollectiveLasVegas.com, contains redirect links to each show’s website for those looking to register to attend or exhibit. In the future, it will have a centralized registration portal as well so users can sign up for any of the three shows directly on the site.
