Constance Polamalu Named to '40 Under 40' List
The Baltimore Business Journal recognized the entrepreneur for her leadership in business and the jewelry industry.
Zachary’s Jewelers’ Constance Polamalu, an American Samoan first-generation jeweler and designer based in Maryland, has been named to Baltimore Business Journal's “40 Under 40” list.
Annapolis, Md.—Constance Polamalu, the chief operating officer of Zachary’s Jewelers in Annapolis, Maryland, has been recognized by a local publication as one of the region’s most accomplished young business leaders.
Baltimore Business Journal has named her to its annual “40 Under 40” list.
In addition to overseeing strategic growth, operations, marketing, and customer experience for the independent jewelry retailer, she is also an entrepreneur and award-winning designer.
She is the designer behind fine jewelry brand Birthright Foundry and the founder of Bloomstone Jewelers, a lab-grown diamond boutique in Annapolis that recently crafted the official crown for Miss USA and Miss Teen USA.

In addition to overseeing strategic growth, operations, marketing, and customer experience for the independent jewelry retailer, she is also an entrepreneur and award-winning designer.
She is the designer behind fine jewelry brand Birthright Foundry and the founder of Bloomstone Jewelers, a lab-grown diamond boutique in Annapolis that recently crafted the official crown for Miss USA and Miss Teen USA.
Polamalu’s designs have been featured in Cosmopolitan, Esquire, and Harper's Bazaar, and have been worn by celebrities including Lizzo, who donned a pair of custom earrings by Polamalu at the Met Gala.
She has been awarded the Emerging Diamond Designer Award from the Natural Diamond Council and Lorraine Schwartz, as well as InStore magazine's Statement Piece of the Year award.
Earlier this year, she published her first children's book, “Zach Bear and the Missing Necklace,” a story that brings to life the teddy bear Zachary’s Jewelers gives out to customers who are celebrating milestones.
Polamalu serves on the board of Diamonds Do Good, on the Investment and Nominating Committees of Jewelers of America, and as a retail advisor for the JCK Luxury trade show.
She has also served in leadership roles with the Anne Arundel Chamber of Commerce and the Downtown Annapolis Partnership.
"Constance's passion, creativity, and vision have helped shape Zachary's into the company it is today," said Steve Samaras, owner of Zachary's Jewelers.

Polamalu said she was honored to be recognized by the Baltimore Business Journal.
