Citizen's New Spider-Man Watch Is a Collector’s Dream
The watch’s dial features an original design by Marvel comics illustrator Adam Kubert.

“Spider-Man: Brand New Day,” starring power couple Tom Holland and Zendaya, debuted Friday, while Spider-Man Day was celebrated on Aug. 1.
The limited-edition timepiece features exclusive original artwork by Marvel comics illustrator Adam Kubert.
When designing the dial, Kubert envisioned a comic book panel brought to life, showcasing Spider-Man’s signature web-powered movements.
On the dial, the masked hero is seen swinging through a cityscape, surrounded by luminous web detailing.
"I wanted the artwork to capture the energy and movement that make Spider-Man instantly recognizable," said Kubert.
"The goal was to create something that felt rooted in the visual language of the comics while translating naturally into a watch design—from the sense of motion to the small details fans will recognize. It was exciting to bring that world into a new format."
The watch features a 43mm gray ion-plated stainless steel case and bracelet as well as a three-hand movement and date display. It is powered by Citizen’s J810 Eco-Drive movement.
“THWIP,” which is the written-out sound Spider-Man makes when he slings a web, appears on the dial and caseback.
The timepiece also comes with a matching collectible pin.
Limited to 1,500 pieces, the watch retails for $525, and is available on Citizen’s website and at select retailers.
The collaboration “reflects the growing intersection of storytelling, collectible culture, and elevated watchmaking,” said Citizen.
The watch company, which has partnered with Marvel previously, is also celebrating the 50th anniversary of its proprietary Eco-Drive technology.
