Oris Names New CEO, CFO
The Swiss watchmaker is changing up its executive leadership team as part of a restructuring.

Hölstein, Switzerland—Oris is rearranging its leadership team, naming a new CEO and chief financial officer.
In an emailed letter sent Tuesday, Oris Chairman Ulrich W. Herzog announced its board of directors had appointed Rolf Studer as CEO of Oris Group.
Previously, Studer served as co-CEO since 2016, alongside Claudine Gertiser.
Gertiser, who is also vice chairwoman of the board of directors, will now serve as CFO.
“Over the past year, the board of directors and members of the management team have worked on the direction and the set-up for an independent, dynamic, and long-term oriented strategy and structure for the future of Oris,” wrote Herzog.
He noted the new executive appointments were “the first decisions” made as part of the Swiss watchmaker’s restructuring.
“We would like to thank Rolf and Claudine for their commitment to date and wish both of them every success in shaping the next chapters for Oris,” he said.
