The new app by De Beers, which serves as both a diamond miner and marketer, provides information about natural diamonds that sales staff can share with customers.
The “De Beers Education” app features accessible educational content, like fast facts, games, podcasts, videos, and downloadable tools for retailers.
“We are delighted to introduce the De Beers Education mobile app, providing retailers with free access to unlimited natural diamond knowledge at their fingertips,” said Jodine Bolden, director of education and training at De Beers Group Institute of Diamonds.
“As the difference in value between natural diamonds and synthetic or laboratory-grown diamonds increases, it’s crucial that retailers can provide consumers with clear and accurate information, so we look forward to supporting as many retailers as possible via the free De Beers Education mobile app.”
The De Beers Education app is available as a free download from the Google Play and Apple app stores.
