Long’s Jewelers Announces Director of Stores
Jana Bethlem joins the jewelry and watch retailer from Christian Dior.
Jana Bethlem is Long’s Jewelers new director of stores.
Boston—Long’s Jewelers has announced its latest hire.
The Massachusetts and New Hampshire fine jewelry and watch retailer has appointed Jana Bethlem director of stores, part of the company’s executive team.
Bethlem comes to Long’s from Christian Dior, where she worked for 12 years, most recently as regional director.
In that role, Bethlem oversaw eight Christian Dior retail locations. Prior to that, she was the senior boutique director of the company’s global flagship in Manhattan.
Her time at the fashion house also includes stints as training and operations manager as well as a boutique manager in various markets in North America.
“We have an incredible team at Long’s and we are so excited to add Jana to our leadership group. She has an amazing track record of managing luxury and clientele-driven retail operations like ours,” said Long’s Jewelers President Craig Rottenberg.
The jeweler’s stores include five multi-brand, multi-category stores in the Boston area, plus one location in New Hampshire.
Long’s also operates Boston’s 4,600-square-foot Rolex boutique on Newbury Street.
The company plans to expand, with an additional store also set to open on Newbury Street this year. The boutique’s first floor will be entirely dedicated to Patek Philippe, while the second floor will carry the jeweler’s full range of brands.
“At Long’s, we have grown so fast and doubled our sales in just 2 short years," Rottenberg said.
"With two exciting new retail projects set for 2023, we expect our growth to continue for years to come and we know that Jana will play a pivotal role in our continued elevation and evolution.”
