JIS Rebrands Miami Shows
The spring trade show will be held this March and the fall show in late September through October.
The newly named JIS Spring, will be held from March 13-15 while the JIS autumn event, now called JIS Fall, will take place Sept. 30 to Oct. 3.
Norwalk, Conn.—JIS is revamping its Miami trade shows, giving the seasonal events new show names.
Its spring event, now JIS Spring, will be held from March 13-15 while its fall event, JIS Fall, will take place Sept. 30 to Oct. 3.
Both shows will be held at the Miami Beach Convention Center in Miami Beach, Florida.
Registration for JIS Spring is now open.
“Over the last year, JIS buyer registration has increased by an overall 16% domestically and internationally and increased by 75% from the New York Metro area, despite the travel challenges surrounding the pandemic,” said Jordan Tuchband, industry vice president of JIS Events, in a press release about the rebranded events.
Organizers are expecting continued growth in attendance, he said, particularly from Latin America.
The show is strategically planned to allow retailers to map out their inventory needs after the holidays and Valentine’s Day, said JIS, and to help them restock for the spring and summer holidays, like Mother’s Day and Father’s Day, as well as the graduation and wedding seasons.

The spring show will feature more than 200 domestic and international manufacturers, wholesalers, and brands.
There will be three specialty pavilions, including “Galleria”, “Fine Jewelry” and “Silver & Fashion.”
“We are excited to welcome retailers from all over the world to one of the first major jewelry buying events of 2022. JIS Spring will provide a curated destination for buyers to discover and restock on timely, spring/summer trend-focused merchandise as well as forge new business connections,” said Tuchband.
New to the spring show is a lounge on the show floor that will feature new products.
JIS also will host a keynote speaker session and offer networking opportunities.
