Articles looking back on the year abound, as well as a few predictions of what’s could come in 2017.
It’s fitting that as the year comes to an end, a number of companies and firms are releasing their findings on what state the jewelry industry and retail sectors are in and how people are feeling about the year ahead.
While the Antwerp Diamond Centre and Bain & Co. unveiled their latest research on global diamond jewelry demand, National Jeweler also surveyed retailers about how election results have impacted business and how they expect the political climate to affect them in 2017.
And when Google released its list of top trending searches of the year, we learned that people were interested in politics, Pokémon and the Powerball in 2016, among other things.
