Matt Stuller to Receive 2027 Gem Award for Lifetime Achievement
The founder and executive chairman of Stuller Inc. is being honored for his impact on the jewelry industry at the 25th annual Gem Awards.
Matt Stuller will be the recipient of the 2027 Gem Award for Lifetime Achievement. He is the founder and executive chairman of Stuller Inc., a global jewelry manufacturer, supplier, and technology developer.
New York—Jewelers of America and the Gem Awards committee have named Matt Stuller as the recipient of the 2027 Gem Award for Lifetime Achievement.
Stuller, the founder and executive chairman of Stuller Inc., is being honored for his impact on the jewelry industry.
He was named executive chairman in November 2025, with Danny Clark succeeding him in the role of CEO.
“The Jewelers of America board of directors and the Gem Awards committee are thrilled to have Matt Stuller as the Gem Award for Lifetime Achievement recipient at our historic 25th annual gala,” said David Bonaparte, president and CEO of JA.
“It has been remarkable to see what Matt has accomplished, the extensive list of businesses he has served, and the impact he has made on our industry. We can’t think of anyone more deserving of this honor on our 25th anniversary.”
In 1970, at the age of 19, Stuller recognized what jewelers needed most—speed, reliability, and service that felt personal.
He answered those needs by building Stuller Inc. one mile at a time.
He traveled across the South hand-delivering findings from the trunk of his car, which would lay the foundation for Stuller Inc.
Today, Stuller’s eponymous business has become a global jewelry manufacturer, supplier, and technology developer that serves jewelry professionals worldwide through its operations across North America, Barcelona, and Bangkok.
Stuller has fostered the company’s culture of service by building an organization where employees are empowered to care for customers, support one another, and strengthen the jewelry industry they serve, said the organizations.

Stuller will be presented with the award at the Gem Awards gala on Friday, March 12, 2027, at Cipriani 42nd Street in New York.
The Lifetime Achievement award is one of many awards given at the gala, which honors individuals and companies whose work elevates the visibility and artistry of fine jewelry and timepieces.
