Gem Awards Opens 2027 Nomination Period
Submissions for the milestone 25th annual Gem Awards will be accepted across three categories from now through July 31.

The Gem Awards Committee is accepting self-nominations in the categories of Jewelry Design, Media Excellence, and Retail Innovation now through July 31.
“The Gem Awards have spent 25 years recognizing the visionaries, innovators, and storytellers whose work elevates the jewelry and watch industry,” said Amanda Gizzi, senior vice president of corporate affairs at JA.
“As we celebrate this milestone anniversary, we are proud to continue providing a platform that honors the designers, retailers, and media professionals who inspire excellence across our industry. We look forward to seeing the submissions of those whose creativity, leadership, and dedication are shaping the future.”
The annual black-tie event recognizes individuals and companies whose work elevates the visibility and artistry of fine jewelry and watches.
The event requires people and companies to nominate themselves to “provide individuals and brands with a platform to present their full body of work and achievements directly to the committee,” JA said.
The Gem Awards Committee will review all submissions and select the nominees. A panel of industry experts will then vote to choose the winners.
An independent firm tabulates the results, which remain confidential until the winners are revealed live during the gala.
The 2027 Gem Awards Committee is comprised of:
Chair Marion Fasel, The Adventurine;
Randi Udell Alper, London Jewelers;
Sarin Bachmann, JCK and Luxury;
