Liljenquist Beckstead Opens Rolex New Boutique
It’s located in Tysons Galleria, an upscale shopping center in the Washington, D.C., metro area.

The 2,800-square-foot boutique is located along the recently renovated main corridor of Tysons Galleria, a shopping center in the affluent D.C. suburb of McLean, Virginia.
“With this landmark boutique, we have created a setting that serves as a distinguished home for Rolex in the Mid-Atlantic [region],” said Lisa Colen, director of operations at Liljenquist Beckstead.
“Every detail was thoughtfully considered to elevate the client experience beyond the traditional retail environment. The result is a sophisticated, high-sensory space where the heritage of Rolex is expressed through exceptional design, hospitality, and service.”
The space’s architectural elements, such as its sawtooth storefront and bronze-brass façade, were designed to draw shoppers into the space.
The store also has travertine-framed display windows, accented by illuminated graphics.
At the entrance is a textured stucco feature set within a travertine wall, which the retailer said establishes “an immediate tone of warmth, refinement, and understated luxury.”
The store’s ceiling and walls are made of American walnut, bringing a sense of intimacy and calm, the retailer said.
Soft lighting is used in the showcases, while bronzed brass, beige and taupe leather, and accents in Rolex’s signature green color are meant to reflect the watch brand’s aesthetic.
The store’s walnut ceiling extends into a lounge area, which contains private and semi-private spaces for meeting with clients.
There is also a dry bar positioned behind a wooden screen and windows at the back of the lounge that allow customers to watch the store’s Rolex-trained watchmakers at work.
The retailer said the new boutique reflects the shared values of Rolex and Liljenquist Beckstead: excellence, elegance, craftsmanship, and exceptional client service.
Liljenquist Beckstead is a family-owned and operated jeweler with a total of four locations across Maryland and Virginia.
