Kendra Scott Joins ‘Shark Tank’ As Permanent Investor
The founder of the billion-dollar jewelry and lifestyle brand will debut as a full-time “Shark” on the upcoming season of the show.

While this marks Scott’s fifth appearance on the show, it will be her first season as a full-time Shark.
The Emmy award-winning show invites entrepreneurs to pitch business and product ideas to a panel of potential investors, a lineup of self-made, multimillionaire and billionaire tycoons known as “Sharks.”
Scott is the founder, executive chairwoman, and chief visionary officer behind the billion-dollar jewelry and lifestyle brand Kendra Scott.
It began in 2002, when she launched her eponymous jewelry line with only $500.
Today, the company has over 3,200 employees and more than 170 standalone stores, offering a diverse range of products, including fashion, demi-fine, and fine jewelry, watches, engagement rings, home accessories, a men’s collection, and the western-inspired brand, Yellow Rose by Kendra Scott.
In 2022, Scott released a memoir in which she recounted her entrepreneurial journey.
Since 2010, Scott made more than $70 million in monetary and in-kind contributions to causes supporting women and youth.
Her philanthropic initiatives include the Kendra Scott Women’s Entrepreneurial Leadership Institute (KS WELI), founded in 2019 at The University of Texas at Austin to empower the next generation of female entrepreneurs.
In 2023, she launched the Kendra Scott Foundation, focusing on women and youth health, wellness, education, and entrepreneurship.
The foundation’s signature program “Kendra Cares” brings custom jewelry-making experiences to pediatric hospital patients and their caregivers, while its Yellow Library initiative outfits Title I schools with custom bookshelves, grants, and diverse, bilingual books.
Scott also serves on the board of the Breast Cancer Research Foundation.
She leads her company from Austin, Texas, where she resides with her family.
For season 18 of Shark Tank, Scott will join a second new full-time Shark, venture capitalist and Harbinger Sports Partners Chief Investment Officer Rashaun Williams.
They will appear alongside real estate mogul Barbara Corcoran; inventor and entrepreneur Lori Greiner; cybersecurity technology innovator Robert Herjavec; fashion and branding expert Daymond John; social entrepreneur, investor, and civic leader Daniel Lubetzky; and venture capitalist Kevin O’Leary.
Guest Sharks will include award-winning writer, producer, director, actor, and author Mindy Kaling; Jimmy Donaldson (@MrBeast) and Jeffrey Housenbold, CEO of Beast Industries; former NFL defensive lineman and founder of the Justin J. Watt Foundation J.J. Watt; co-founders of clothing line Favorite Daughter, producers, and entrepreneurs Erin Foster and Sara Foster; and entrepreneur, investor, and “The Diary of a CEO” host Steven Bartlett, who also appears as a Dragon on “Dragons’ Den,” the U.K. version of “Shark Tank”.
Season 18 of Shark Tank will air Wednesdays this fall on ABC and stream on Hulu, with the premiere date to be announced.
