Mejuri Experiments With Steel
Its new capsule jewelry collection features gold-finished stainless steel pieces designed for a maximalist look without a luxury price tag.

The brand said the addition of this new material creates a new avenue for trend-driven, fashion-forward design.
“It’s designed for the customer who wants to try the latest trends, build a statement stack, or embrace a bolder look without the luxury price tag,” it said.
The capsule collection features five offerings—three earrings, a bangle, and a 3-piece bangle set.
The earrings fit the current chunky gold trend while the bangles can be added to a trendy arm stack.
“Steel felt like the right material at the right moment because it unlocked an evolution to our design languages,” said Noura Sakkijha, co-founder and CEO of Mejuri.
“We were drawn to its strength, durability, and sculptural possibilities, all while maintaining the performance qualities we care deeply about: being hypoallergenic, water-resistant, and made to live in. Ultimately, this was about expanding how someone can wear Mejuri, not shifting away from who we are.”
The release of this capsule follows Mejuri’s launch of its popular “Puzzle” rings in sterling silver in March.
The “Puzzle” collection originally featured 18-karat yellow gold vermeil rings. However, the brand said it added silver to allow for more styling options in mixed-metal stacks.
Other designers and brands have also been experimenting with different materials in the face of the rising gold prices, like using Modern Electrum.
Mejuri’s steel capsule retails from $98 to $168.
Meanwhile, gold is currently at $4,000 an ounce, as of press time.
The steel capsule collection debuted on Monday and is available in-store and on the Mejuri website.
