Gembridge Adds Consumer Marketplace to Platform

“Friends of Gembridge” will connect trade members to potential public buyers.

Gembridge has launched a new digital marketplace to connect trade members with potential consumer buyers.
New York—Digital marketplace Gembridge has launched a sales channel allowing trade members to sell directly to consumers. 
 
Friends of Gembridge gives consumers access to the platform and will connect the trade to potential buyers via social media. 

Trade members who already list their stock to sell on Gembridge’s business-to-business marketplace can now opt in to making listings available in the consumer marketplace at special prices. 
 
Consumers won’t have access to the B2B marketplace, which will remain restricted to trade members only. 
 
Listings and wholesale prices are only accessible to industry members with a password who have passed a KYC/AML verification and peer review by the Gembridge management team. 
 
“We are committed to helping all our members sell more gemstones and jewelry online. With this launch they now have the opportunity to sell to a new audience of consumer buyers called Friends of Gembridge, who are people who share our passion for colored gemstones and jewelry but don’t necessarily make a living from buying and selling,” said chairman Tony Brooke.
 
Interested members can register now at Gembridge.com.
 
Gembridge launched in early 2021, providing the colored gemstone sector with a digital marketplace to buy, sell, and consign product through a secure, insured, door-to-door service. 
 
It currently has members from 57 countries and is represented by 16 ambassadors. 
 
Gembridge is a member of CIBJO, the International Colored Gemstone Association, and the Responsible Jewellery Council.
