Canadamark Designer Collab Lands at Bergdorf
The diamond brand teamed up with jewelry showroom Muse for a collection that arrived at the iconic New York department store this week.

New York—The latest Bergdorf Goodman jewelry trunk show will highlight not one but four jewelry designers in a special collaboration with Canadamark.
The Canadian diamond brand partnered with New York City fine jewelry showroom Muse to create a collection with four of the designers on its roster: Mark Davis, Nikos Koulis, Silvia Furmanovich and Vram.
Each designer created four pieces with Canadamark diamonds; the resulting collection is called “4x4” and became available at Bergdorf on Sept. 12.
Originally unveiled at the Couture jewelry trade show this year, 4x4 endeavors to bring attention to “responsibly sourced” diamonds, per Canadamark.
Owned by Dominion Diamond Mines ULC, which resurrected the once-dormant program in 2014, Canadamark’s certified diamonds feature hallmarks signifying their provenance.
Canadamark utilizes an independent auditor to verify each stone’s journey from Canadian mine to final polished result.
The collaboration with some of the most innovative and attention-commanding independent jewelry brands in the market today puts Canadamark firmly in the jewelry lover’s purview, showing that great design and responsible sourcing needn’t be mutually exclusive.
In a press release, Muse founder Jennifer Shanker noted the Canadamark 4x4 collection meets modern consumers’ needs for knowledge of products’ origins.
“It has long been a priority for Muse Showroom, our designers and retailers to work with jewels featuring responsibly sourced materials,” she said.
“We are thrilled to be collaborating with Canadamark, who share our values. The transparency of the Canadamark supply chain gives consumers buying these diamonds the clarity and confidence they are asking for when it comes to the origin and history of their gems.”
Canadamark Executive Vice President of Diamonds Jim Pounds added: “We are delighted to work with such a talented, diverse and accomplished group of designers. Their unique vision, which is so beautifully expressed in these designs, contextualizes our diamonds in a new way. What they have created is a perfect showcase for the potential of our beautiful Canadian product.”
The 4x4 collection retails between $8,500 and $45,000 and will remain at Bergdorf Goodman through Sept. 29.
Canadamark also partnered with Muse on a collection of approximately 25 charms by 14 different designers (including Davis, Koulis and Furmanovich), 16 of which were rendered in platinum in collaboration with Platinum Guild International.
Each charm features some variation of a heart motif, as interpreted through each designer’s unique lens, and is accented with Canadamark diamonds.
