This week was full of diamond news, including the announcement that the Diamond Development Initiative has launched a set of standards for artisanally mined stones.
Tissot unveiled that champion motorcyclist Jorge Lorenzo is now a brand ambassador, joining a long list of athletes representing the brand, and Omi added industry veteran Adam Graham to the team to lead marketing and sales.
As Mother’s Day approaches, National Jeweler highlighted nine jewels perfect for the stylish mom and the National Retail Federation released results of its survey on consumer spending ahead of the holiday.
Meanwhile, in the diamond world, the Diamond Development Initiative launched its new set of standards for artisanally mined diamonds, RapNet now is listing stones with reports from two more grading labs and Lucapa announced that it found three more big diamonds at the Lulo mining site.
