Jessica McCormack Turns to Classic Motif for New Collection
The “Bows” collection features three interpretations of the bow motif designed with Georgian and Victorian influences.

The “Bows” collection eschews the overt femininity usually associated with the bow in favor of looks that speak to “boldness and irreverence,” the brand said.
The earrings, rings, and necklaces in the 21-piece collection pair diamonds with pearls, sapphire, and emerald in 18-karat gold.
The three interpretations include twisting ribbons, sculptural and articulated bows, and bunched, looped bows designed with the Georgian and Victorian influences McCormack is known for.
A standout of the collection is the “Bows Ribbon” necklace that features a twisting ribbon motif set with a total of 35.52 carats of diamonds.
The sculptural bow motif, seen in the “Bows” ring that features two pear-cut diamonds, uses Georgian cut-down settings to highlight the diamonds’ strength and character, the brand said, a juxtaposition from the delicateness of a bow.
Milgrain settings are used in 18-karat blackened white and yellow gold to add texture to the designs. This can be seen in many pieces, like the “Bows Ribbon” pendant or the “Bows” hoop earrings.
Throughout the collection, these sculptural bow pieces utilize articulation so the bows’ ribbon can move with the wearer.
Bows that have been tied loosely and are bunched are the third version of the motif, as seen above in the “Bows Bunched” earrings.
A standout here are the Bows Bunched earrings, which highlight the counterbalance of bold shapes with soft hues by using denim-blue thread for the pearls.
New engagement rings debuted in the Bows collection as well, providing a twist on McCormack’s traditional bridal offerings.
These designs showcase looped bow motifs accented by diamonds in a milgrain setting flanking the center stone.
The Bows collection retails from $5,250 to $365,000.
It debuted on Sept. 17 and is available in-store as well as on the Jessica McCormack website.
The London-based brand has two stores in the United States, one in New York and its recently opened store in Costa Mesa, California.
