Cynthia Erivo, Zoë Chicco’s Jewelry Collab Is an Ode to Transformation
The “Chrysalis” capsule centers butterfly motifs representing growth, transformation, and the unfolding of who you are.

As the name hints, the designs seen throughout the capsule draw from the transformation of a caterpillar to a butterfly.
“For Cynthia, transformation is revelation. It is the unfolding of who you are out of who you were. It is the illumination of purpose,” said the brand.
Each of the 28 pieces reflects the theme of personal growth through motifs of butterflies, wings, and chrysalises.
There are necklaces, charms, earrings, rings, bracelets, and a hand chain in 14-karat yellow gold accented by diamonds, black enamel, or engravings.
Chicco and Erivo worked together from the initial concept and design ideas through selection and approval of the final pieces, with Erivo’s vision and perspective shaping the capsule.
Erivo sent Chicco a voice memo describing her vision for the collection.
Chicco recalled her speaking about the evolution of the butterfly and the idea of transformation—the journey of learning, growing, and becoming something new, something better than you were before.
“It’s a concept that resonates very deeply and personally with Cynthia, and it really resonated with me as well. It gave the collection a meaning and emotional connection that goes far beyond the jewelry itself,” said Chicco.
She added, “Cynthia is incredibly talented and creative, and her love of jewelry is so genuine. She has a real passion for it, and that came through in every part of the design process.
“Everything she envisioned was so beautiful, and I found myself wanting to figure out a way to bring every single idea to life.”
The Chrysalis capsule collection retails from $225 to $16,400.
It debuted on Sept. 1 and will be available for a limited time through March 2027 on the Zoë Chicco website.
