G-Shock, Coca-Cola Partner on Bottle-Inspired Watch
The special-edition piece marks the 140th anniversary of the iconic beverage brand.
The new GA-2100CC takes design inspiration from the original Coca-Cola contour bottle.
New York—In honor of its 140th anniversary, Coca-Cola has teamed up with G-Shock on a special-edition watch with a design that nods to the brand’s storied history.
The new GA-2100CC was built from the brand’s popular GA-2100 model, known for its octagonal bezel.
It features a bezel and band with coloring drawn from the iconic Coca-Cola glass contour bottle, which was introduced in 1915.
The day indicator hand at the 9 o’clock position and the band loop each features a fluted bottle motif.
The dial blends Coca-Cola hues with printed graphics that evoke the bubbles in the fizzy soft drink.
An engraving on the case back is inspired by a Coca-Cola bottle cap.
The commemorative watch also comes in exclusive packaging.
The Coca-Cola Company was founded in 1886 in Atlanta, Georgia.
Today, the company sells more than 200 other brands in more than 200 countries and serves more than 1.9 billion beverages worldwide every day.
G-Shock is manufactured by Casio Computer Co., Ltd.
