Amanda’s Style File: June’s Stylish Birthstones
Pearls, moonstones and alexandrite have their moments this month.

Pearls have been having a huge moment.
The popularity of June’s primary birthstone has risen thanks, in part, to a lot of star power.
This includes Vice President Kamala Harris’ love for pearl strands, Hollywood and the music industry’s leading men wearing pearls, and digital content creator and TikTok star Jordan Huxhold wearing classic strands of pearls mixed with gold chains.
Pearl jewelry has an air of formality and, yet, today’s jewelry designers are creating youthful designs that appeal to all generations and genders.
However, if you are not over-the-moon for pearls as an option for June’s birthstone, moonstone (see what I did there?) is a wonderful birthstone alternative. The intergalactic glow of moonstones plays with light and emits a captivating bluish hue.
