Gemstone Spotlight: Jordan Alexander
Today’s shoppers, while appreciative of the pearls that have been used in jewelry created generations before them, are looking to designers to give them an updated, stylish look to go with contemporary fashions.

Today’s shoppers, while appreciative of the pearls that have been used in jewelry created generations before them, are looking to designers to give them an updated, stylish look to go with contemporary fashions.
Enter Theresa Harper Bruno, designer and president at the Jordan Alexander jewelry brand, who was indeed inspired by the estate jewelry collections of both her grandmother and mother but has added a bohemian, contemporary aesthetic to her designs.
By mixing the feminine with the edgy, the polished with the rough, and setting them with diamond pave accents in 18-karat gold, Bruno has created pearl pieces for the modern women who wants classic pieces with edge.

This Jordan Alexander ring boasts an emerald-cut amethyst and a charoite slice framed in pave diamond accents on a half-pave diamond band, all set in 18-karat gold ($6,900).
These 18-karat rose gold freshwater oval pearl slice and pave diamond earrings on posts feature removable diamond-embedded wire-wrapped rough turquoise slices ($6,831).
This baroque pearl necklace has been double wrapped in a 14-karat yellow, rose, and white gold chain and has a hammered 14-karat gold pave diamond tulip clasp ($7,038).
This marquise cabochon aquamarine ring set in a horizontal five-prong setting on a quarter-pave diamond band in 18-karat gold ($3,105) can be stacked with Jordan Alexander’s half-pave diamond band ($1,408) and hammered gold bands ($444 each).
Jordan Alexander’s freshwater oval pearl slice studs are accented with diamond pave and set in 18-karat gold ($4,968).
This necklace features a raw oval turquoise pendant accented with multi-sized bezel-set, round brilliant-cut diamonds on an 18-karat rose gold chain ($10,557).
Jordan Alexander’s triple-stationed ring featured three round freshwater pearl slices framed with diamond pave on a half-pave diamond band made in 18-karat gold ($7,245).
These earrings boast oval cabochon amethysts with diamond accents on posts, and removable diamond-embedded wire wrapped triangular rough charoite slices with graduated diamond veins, all set in 18-karat gold ($9,936).
This 18-karat gold ring features a round Tahitian pearl slice framed in pave diamonds ($3,519).
