Graff debuts $55M diamond watch in Basel
Graff Diamonds is marking its first appearance at Baselworld with the introduction of a $55 million colored diamond watch called “Hallucination,” a creation it estimates is the most valuable timepiece ever to be created.

The ladies’ watch features a pink face and more than 110 total carats of rare fancy colored diamonds. The concept for the timepiece came directly from Laurence Graff, chairman of Graff Diamonds, with the help of the company’s team of designers, gemologists and craftsmen.
The company said the piece took thousands of hours to complete.
“The Graff Hallucination is a sculptural masterpiece, a celebration of the miracle of colored diamonds,” Graff said. “For many years I have thought about creating a truly remarkable watch that illustrates our all-consuming passion for diamonds. The Hallucination has made my diamond dream a reality.”
The watch is currently available for sale, but no information was available by press time about where it will be located after the show is over.
