Krohn will produce the Cohler brand of products in its New Jersey facility and sell them under the Cohler brand name.
Baltimore—Carlstadt, New Jersey-based Krohn Industries has acquired Cohler Enterprises of Baltimore.
Financial terms of the deal were not disclosed.
Cohler specializes in the manufacturing of rhodium, gold and silver plating solutions. Krohn, a third- generation company, has been in business since 1955 selling plating products, cleaning agents, solders, paste solders and alloys.
The acquisition will be effective on or before May 1.
Cohler will be closing its facilities in Baltimore, but owners Toby and Joe Lipsitz will work with Krohn though the transition period to ensure a smooth transfer.
