New York--Frederick Goldman has promoted company executive and industry veteran John Orrico to the newly created role of chief operating officer, effective immediately.
Orrico previously served as the executive vice president of operations for the jewelry manufacturer, overseeing product development, manufacturing and the supply chain since he was named to the position in 2012.
He has more than 25 years of experience stemming from key roles such as overseeing manufacturing, product development, supply chain management, procurement, inventory planning and quality control for global operations.
Prior to joining Frederick Goldman, Orrico held positions at Birks & Mayors as the senior vice president and at Tiffany & Co. as group vice president of the supply chain, helping build their vertical integration strategy.
“John has demonstrated leadership and championed process improvement since he began with the company,” said Frederick Goldman Chairman and CEO Jonathan Goldman. “He’s been instrumental in leading the company’s global operations, creating new revenue streams and cultivating new and existing talent.
