Mark Patterson to Debut ‘Smooth Set’ in Las Vegas
At the Couture show, Mark Patterson will unveil the new setting technique, which completely recesses the diamonds into the metal without prongs or a bezel-style setting.

Corona Del Mar, Calif.--Mark Patterson is celebrating his brand’s 15 anniversary with the launch of a proprietary setting for the bridal collection.
The brand said the setting is its “natural evolution” of engagement rings and wedding bands that feel smooth to the touch and also have a modern appeal to a young, active generation.
Smooth Set will be unveiled at the Couture show, which runs from June 2 to 6 at the Wynn Las Vegas.
Since 2001, Mark Patterson has worked to create near-weightless bridal settings by simplifying designs and lowering the height of the center stones to work with a modern lifestyle.
The Promise bridal collection features wedding rings and engagement sets that fit together seamlessly and without gaps.
