Stephanie Gottlieb Takes Lab-Grown Diamond Collection Wholesale
The jewelry designer has partnered with Sofer Jewelry to distribute her 85-piece lab-grown diamond collection.

Gottlieb founded her brand, Stephanie Gottlieb Fine Jewelry, 13 years ago, primarily using a direct-to-consumer model and focusing on natural diamonds over lab grown.
After launching her first two lab-grown diamond capsule collections in July, the brand announced Monday that she is partnering with Sofer Jewelry, a division of Beny Sofer Inc., on an 85-piece collection of lab-grown diamond jewelry for wholesale.
Sofer Jewelry is the exclusive distributor for the “Stephanie Gottlieb x Sofer Jewelry” collection.
The brand said the partnership marks a new chapter for Gottlieb as her brand expands beyond direct-to-consumer, giving independent jewelers in the United States and internationally access to a collection created specifically for the wholesale market.
Gottlieb chose Sofer Jewelry for the partnership because it is where she began her career in jewelry.
“Starting my career at Sofer makes this incredibly personal,” she said.
“It’s where I learned so much of what I know about diamonds and the jewelry business. To come back 13 years into building my own brand with a completely different perspective, and create something together for this next chapter, feels very full circle.”
The collection’s offerings range from everyday diamond essentials to statement pieces, all using design elements Gottlieb is known for: bold scale, unexpected combinations, and a willingness to break traditional jewelry rules.
“I’ve spent the last 13 years building a very specific point of view around how women buy, wear, and style fine jewelry, and I love the idea of bringing that perspective to a completely new audience through independent jewelers,” Gottlieb said.
“Wholesale gives us an opportunity to meet customers where they already shop and to introduce the world of SG in a way we haven’t before.”
When entering the lab-grown diamond category earlier this year, Gottlieb said she viewed it is an opportunity to push scale, experiment with design, and create expressive diamond jewelry meant to be worn often, while natural diamonds have an important place particularly for bridal, milestones, and pieces consumers want to keep forever.
“Lab grown gives me permission to play differently. We can go bigger, experiment with shapes and combinations, and create pieces that are really about fashion, self-expression, and having fun with diamonds,” Gottlieb said.
The Stephanie Gottlieb x Sofer Jewelry collection is divided into three signature sub-collections: “Undecided Prong,” “Fancy Bezel,” and “Perfectly Imperfect.”
In Undecided Prong, each design pairs two complementary shapes, like round and heart, in claw-prong settings to create an unexpected twist on classic diamond silhouettes.
Styles in this sub-collection include tennis necklaces and bracelets, single studs, a hinge bangle, and a statement ring.
Fancy Bezel centers fancy-shaped lab-grown diamonds—emeralds, pears, and hearts—alongside ovals and rounds framed in bezel settings.
These designs are seen in flex bangles, charms, huggie charms, and single studs.
Perfectly Imperfect features asymmetric designs that pair round and heart-shaped lab-grown diamonds in unexpected combinations that find harmony through contrast.
It encourages wearers to follow their own style rather than traditional jewelry rules, said the brand.
This sub-collection includes bezel-set tennis necklaces and bracelets, studs, drop earrings, bypass rings, and ear climbers.
The Stephanie Gottlieb x Sofer Jewelry collection is crafted in 14-karat yellow and white gold with lab-grown diamonds ranging from 0.25 carats to pieces that are more than 40 carats total weight.
Retail prices range from $790 to more than $30,000.
Stephanie Gottlieb x Sofer Jewelry is available now exclusively to retailers through Sofer Jewelry.
More styles are slated to debut throughout 2027.
This collection is Sofer Jewelry’s first branded fashion lab-grown diamond collection.
“Watching Stephanie build her brand over the years has been incredible, and partnering on this launch was a true meeting of minds,” said Amit Sofer, president of Sofer Jewelry.
“Sourcing consistent, top-tier graded diamonds takes strong wholesale relationships, and we were glad to put ours to work for this collection. It gives our retail partners something new and exclusive to offer their customers this holiday season and beyond.”
