Diamond Supplier SRK Exports Joins United Nations Global Compact
As a member of UNGC, the diamond supplier pledges to implement sustainable and socially responsible policies.

Surat, India—Shree Ramkrishna Exports (SRK) has announced its membership in the United Nations Global Compact (UNGC), an initiative enabling companies around the world to implement sustainable and socially responsible practices.
By joining the UNGC, SRK is underscoring its commitment to the highest standards of social responsibility within the diamond and jewelry industry, said the diamond supplier.
Members of UNGC commit to upholding sustainable and socially responsible policies across all of its operations.
SRK will focus on human rights, environmental stewardship, labor standards, and more, said the diamond supplier.
It will also gain access to resources and training opportunities to strengthen its team’s expertise across all facets of sustainability.
To ensure transparency and accountability, UNGC requires its members to regularly report their progress.
“SRK is deeply committed to integrating sustainability into our core business strategy and to not only set an example for the rest of the industry, but to bring others along with us,” said Nirav Mandir, chief human capital and sustainability officer at SRK.
“We are eager to collaborate with global corporations to share best practices and foster sustainable business models that benefit all stakeholders. Engaging with the UNGC and its partners will equip us with valuable tools and insights to further embed sustainability into our operations.”

SRK recently achieved another milestone, accelerating its emissions reduction targets to achieve net zero emissions at its flagship facilities, SRK House and SRK Empire.
Originally the diamond supplier was aiming to reach net zero emissions by 2030, but it achieved the Global Network for Zero’s net zero certification for existing buildings this past May.
