Diamonds Do Good to Host Film Screening in NYC
The “Real People | Real Impact” film campaign delves into the positive impact of diamonds.
This Monday in New York City, Diamonds Do Good will screen its new advertising campaign, which will later be available for industry use, called “Real People | Real Impact.”
New York—Non-profit and grant giving organization Diamonds Do Good (DDG) is releasing a new campaign.
“Real People | Real Impact” is a film showcasing various DDG initiatives in Botswana, Tanzania, and South Africa.
According to DDG, the campaign touches on the positive impact of its programs, and the diamond trade in general, on communities in diamond-producing regions.
DDG will share its campaign with the industry this fall thanks to a grant from the JCK Industry Fund.
New Yorkers who want a sneak peek can see the video at a special screening next week.
DDG will host attendees at the Ila Penthouse on 28th Street near 8th Avenue on Monday, Oct. 30. Drinks and hors d’oeuvres will be served at 5:30 p.m. and the screening will begin promptly at 6:30 p.m.
Julius Klein Diamonds and Hearts on Fire are the screening sponsors.

Diamonds Do Good will participate in the upcoming JA New York Show happening Oct. 29-31 at the Javits Center in New York City.
There, DDG will host a pop-up education session on Oct. 31 at 11 a.m. called “From Rough to Radiant: Behind the Scenes with Diamonds Do Good.”
