JK Findings has acquired Intercept Silver & Jewelry Care, a distributor of anti-corrosion and anti-tarnish products for silver.
Rochester, N.Y.—Manufacturer JK Findings has acquired Intercept Silver & Jewelry Care for an undisclosed amount.

Intercept Silver & Jewelry Care is the master distributor of Intercept Technology anti-corrosion and anti-tarnish products for the silver and jewelry industries.

Its anti-tarnish products utilize patented polymers to neutralize corrosive gasses that lead to corrosion and tarnishing of metals.

“Intercept’s tabs, strips and packaging are the best anti-tarnish products available on the market today. Nothing compares to them,” said Nancy Bocklage, inventory control manager at JK Findings.

“We have used these products in-house for years to protect our precious metal inventory from tarnishing and to protect our customers’ shipments.”

The acquisition is part of JK Findings’ strategy to add complementary products to its portfolio alongside its jewelry findings and finished jewelry.

This marks the company’s first acquisition since its assets were acquired by private investment firm Latitude 27 Capital in May 2020.

“The addition of Intercept fits perfectly with our strategy to grow JK both organically and through selective acquisitions of synergistic companies. Intercept’s line of products has an outstanding reputation in the marketplace and is a perfect addition to our already comprehensive market offerings.” said JK Findings CEO Joni Lucas.

Founded in 1975, JK Findings is a manufacturer and wholesaler of precious metal products for the jewelry industry, including jewelry findings, chain, and wire as well as finished and custom jewelry.
