Shy Creation Appoints Kari Allen as EVP
Her past roles in the trade include executive positions at Gucci, Charriol, and Damiani.
She stepped into the role on May 1 and is based at Shy’s headquarters in Los Angeles.
Allen succeeds Jim Littman in the role, who is retiring at the end of June after many years with the company.
Allen will focus on Shy’s sales and operations in her new role.
She joins the company with plenty of experience in executive positions for watch and jewelry brands, including director of sales for Gucci, vice president of Charriol and Damiani, and president of Versace USA.
“We are proud and excited to have Kari joining the Shy team as executive vice president,” CEO David Dayan said.
“Kari brings with her tremendous experience and insight. With our remarkable growth into the nation’s diamond fashion leader, Kari will be a critical part of our success.”
