Jewelers Mutual Hires Larry Spicer to Lead Security
He will serve as vice president of loss prevention and risk management services, succeeding 39-year employee David Sexton.
Larry Spicer is the new vice president of loss prevention and risk management services at Jewelers Mutual.
Neenah, Wis.—Jewelers Mutual Group has named Larry Spicer to the role of vice president of loss prevention and risk management services, succeeding longtime employee David Sexton.
Spicer has more than 20 years’ experience as a security professional, having held leadership positions at Aurora Healthcare, Home Depot and Kohl’s.
He most recently served as director, public safety at Aurora Healthcare in Milwaukee, responsible for the development and implementation of security strategies and procedures to keep more than 70,000 team members safe.
During his first few months at Jewelers Mutual, Spicer will work closely with Sexton and other members of the leadership team as he acclimates to the jewelry industry and its unique challenges, the company said.
Sexton announced his retirement in October. He will officially end his 39-year tenure at the end of the year.
