Monica Rich Kosann Debuts Locket Bracelets
“It’s all about the wrist this season,” the jewelry designer said.

New York--The queen of lockets, Monica Rich Kosann, has her sights set on bracelets for fall.
“It’s all about the wrist this season,” said the designer, who previewed her fall collection in New York before showing it at Couture in Las Vegas.
Kosann created a bevy of 18-karat gold locket bracelets, including a bold version featuring a morganite, turquoise and sapphire or aquamarine stone for $25,000 to $55,000 retail, as well as a more delicate counterpart that retails for $2,950 to $3,300 and is available in turquoise, calcite, blue topaz over white mother-of-pearl, cognac crystal over mother-of-pearl, or rock crystal over mother-of-pearl.
For fans of the designer’s signature locket necklaces, fall 2016 has plenty to offer. The pièce de résistance was a stunning one-of-a-kind Australian opal locket set in 18-karat gold, which will retail for more than $200,000.
Kosann may be loyal to her lockets, but that doesn’t mean she's afraid to expand.
In addition to a new book, A Possession Obsession: What We Collect & Why, out in October, Kosann has designed a hybrid jewelry and beauty collection with Estée Lauder for the holidays.
The collection will feature bracelets with charms that open to reveal lip gloss, fanciful compacts and animal-inspired objets d’art.
The designer has also launched a social media campaign, appropriately titled #WhatsInMyLocket.
