Jewelers for Children’s Halloween Costume Contest Rocks
Participants can buy five votes for $5 to decide which jeweler will dress up as an ‘80s rockstar for Halloween.
Jewelers for Children is holding a Halloween costume contest fundraiser.
New York—Jewelers for Children needs your vote for its Halloween costume contest fundraiser.
The charitable organization debuted the “Rock the Costume Showdown,” which allows participants to vote on which one of eight jewelry industry professionals will dress up as an ‘80s rockstar for Halloween.
The contestants are as follows:
Lisa Bridge, CEO of Ben Bridge Jewelers;
Jeffrey Cohen, President of Citizen Watch America;
Gus Garcia, Chief Growth Officer at Loudr;
Arien Gessner, President of Rio Grande;
Margot Grinberg, President of the Movado brand;
Bobbi Hansen, Director of Merchandising at Fred Meyer Jewelers;
Brent Stern, President of Rogers Enterprises; and
Eric Zuckerman, Owner and CEO of Pac Team Group, who also came up with the idea of the showdown.
Participants can purchase five votes for $5 via the JFC website. Those interested can purchase as many votes as they like.
Voting runs from now through Oct. 29 at midnight.

“The challenge is an important way to bring the community together to work towards the goal of providing more support for kids in need,” said JFC.
The organization is working with six nonprofit partners with a common goal, which is to improve the lives of children experiencing difficult circumstances, tragedy, loss, or illness.
“By voting in the challenge, you are helping to fund a wish or pay for important medical research to better the lives of those on the autism spectrum, [or] to give a grant to a child aging out of foster care,” said JFC.
