GIA Offering Discounts on Jade Reports
The 20 percent off promotion will run through March 31.
From now until the end of March, the Gemological Institute of America is offering 20 percent off jade reports at its locations worldwide. The lab recently revamped its report for the green gemstone, changing the layout and adding details like a table outlining the various jade type definitions.
Carlsbad, Calif.— The Gemological Institute of America is offering a 20 percent discount on new jade report submissions from now through the end of March.
The discount applies to loose or mounted stones, carvings suitable for jewelry, and bangles up to 999.99 carats, the lab said. Beads in strands and other jewelry also are included.
There is a three-bead minimum per report.
“GIA is committed to meeting the evolving needs of the industry and consumers,” said Shane McClure, the lab’s global director of colored stone services.
“This promotional pricing for the updated GIA jade report offers a substantial cost advantage and emphasizes our dedication to delivering unparalleled gemological services.”
In December, the lab announced its jade reports had been updated to include additional information and a new layout.
To take advantage of the discount, clients can submit their jade items to any GIA lab through March 31.
