In NYC, Buccellati opening its biggest store yet

New York--Italian jewelry brand Buccellati will introduce a new store concept when it moves to different location in New York City this fall, taking over the space recently vacated by Mauboussin.
The new Buccellati store will be located in the five-story townhouse at 714 Madison Ave., just a few blocks south of its current location at 810 Madison Ave.
The boutique will be the brand’s largest so far at 6,480 square feet, more than half of which will be dedicated retail space--three floors of haute joaillerie (high jewelry), bridal jewelry, silver jewelry and watches, as well as a VIP area.
Meanwhile, the fourth floor will be a showroom and the fifth floor will be an event space.
It will continue to be the brand’s flagship and, since it is larger than the current 1,404-square-foot New York store, the new location will support the brand’s continued focus on expansion, both within the U.S. and globally, Buccellati said.
Buccellati also announced that it is expanding into the Miami Beach market with the opening of a new store in Bal Harbour, Fla., a 700-square-foot space on the ground floor of the Bal Harbour Shops open-air shopping center.
This location is designed to provide access to the company’s South American clients.
Architects Tiziano Vudafieri and Claudio Saverino of Vudafieri Saverino Partners are designing both new stores in order to keep the atmosphere of the stores in line with the brand’s signature look of blending the traditional with the modern. Openings are slated for this fall.
In the U.S., Buccellati also has stores in Aspen, Colo.; Beverly Hills, Calif.; and Chicago, as well as a number of international locations.
