Piece of the Week: Eéra’s Ear Jacket
New for fall/winter 2023, the Italian brand’s colorful new earrings are perfect to mix and match.
When it comes to fall jewelry trends, however, Italian brand Eéra is making a case for the jacket’s return.
Outfitted in various shades of the brand’s signature colorful rhodium plating, Eéra makes the classic style all its own.
The ear jacket—meaning a removable back that falls below the ear lobe—tends to come in and out of fashion, never completely leaving the jewelry zeitgeist but experiencing certain moments of popularity.
Its most recent surge in popularity was around 2015 alongside ear climbers and multi-finger rings, when jewelry styles that were a little extra were taking center stage.
Eéra’s rendition proves just how easy the style is to wear, providing a subtle but impactful upgrade from a diamond stud.
This week’s “Piece of the Week” is technically two separate pieces. One, a mixed metal diamond ear jacket in white gold and blue rhodium-plated white gold, and the other comprising the same materials but completely coated in the eye-catching rhodium plating.
We like the idea of mixing and matching the several styles of ear jackets Eéra is introducing for the fall/winter 2023 season by either donning a mismatched pair or sporting different styles across one ear in multiple piercings.
Priced at $1,650 per earring, the styles will soon be available on the Eéra website, where wholesale inquiries may be directed.
