Charles & Colvard Gets into Lab-Grown Colored Gemstones
Its new “Made in Color” collection features lab-grown emeralds, sapphires, and rubies in 14-karat gold.
“Made in Color” features lab-grown emeralds, sapphires, and rubies accented with the company’s Caydia lab-grown diamonds in 14-karat yellow and white gold.
Featuring pops of color in designs with “dynamic movement,” the new pieces were created, the company said, for the “fashion-forward woman who has no desire to blend in,” noting the collection fits well with recent runway trends of “uncontainable maximalist” style.
The collection ranges in price from $359 to $8,449 and is available on CharlesandColvard.com.
“Our new color vision will not only introduce exciting new product, but it’s also driving a bold new direction for our brand,” Senior Director of Sales and Merchandising Hillary Watson said.
“We're honored that the industry continues to look to us for bridal, moissanite, and lab-grown diamond jewelry standards, and we think they’re going to love what this new era and look brings forward to those collections as well.”
Founded in 1995 and based in North Carolina, Charles & Colvard originally started with moissanite jewelry before adding lab-grown diamonds to its mix of “Made, Not Mined” jewelry.
The company recently added a line of men’s diamond fashion bands featuring its brand of lab-grown diamonds in 14-karat yellow and white gold to its classic “Signature” collection.
