Mejuri to Award $50K in Scholarships to Jewelry Design Students
The funds will be distributed to schools in the U.S., Canada, and the U.K.

Its new Mejuri Design Excellence Award will distribute $10,000 each to five institutions in the U.S., Canada, and the U.K. to support students studying jewelry design.
The selected schools are the Rhode Island School of Design and Savannah College of Art and Design in the U.S., the Ontario College of Art and Design University and Vancouver Community College in Canada, and Central Saint Martins in the U.K.
Mejuri will also offer portfolio reviews, guest lectures, and mentoring to enhance student development.
“I am excited to join forces with these schools to support the next generation of designers,” said Noura Sakkijha, CEO and co-founder of Mejuri.
“In a time where funding in this space is lacking, it’s essential that we provide these students with the mentorship and opportunities they deserve. Together, we can help cultivate their potential and ensure that the design landscape continues to thrive.”
Mejuri will share more about the recipients and their work in its upcoming sustainability report, set to be released in May.
The scholarship is part of Mejuri’s Empowerment Fund, which launched in 2020 to support women and underrepresented communities, said the company.
The fund has partnered with Design Thinking Africa, Indspire, and UNCF.
It recently surpassed $1 million in contributions.
